'Traffic' director Rajesh Pillai's next film is 'GOLD'

Rajesh Pillai rose to fame after his 2011 movie 'Traffic' hit the screens, With a unique storyline based on a true event and an excellent screen play added with his direction ensured that Traffic scored big in the hearts of Malayali Cinemagoers in Kerala. This time he is back with his second project and is titled 'Gold', The film is also a multistarrer just like 'Traffic' and is rumoured to have Mammootty, Prithviraj, Anoop Menon, Kunchakko Boban, and Anoop menon. The rest of the cast and crew is unknown as of now.

Shankar Ramakrishnan pens the script for the film. Other cast and crew are not yet confirmed. We are not sure if Mammootty is in the film, we will keep you updated on news about 'GOLD' in the coming weeks.

Finally the Megastar's son is taking up acting on the footsteps of his dad, Padmashree Bharath Mammootty.The film is directed by Srinath Rajendran, Who is also a debutant and is also Dulkar's friend.The film will have lot of new comers along with veteran actors like Salim Kumar and Baburaj.A newcomer 'Avantika' is going to be the female lead of the film, While the music will be by the Avial band and Kaithapram.It was last month that Dulkar's engagement was over.The film already started shooting at Kozhikode.It was earlier rumoured that Dulkar might debut with Lingusamy in tamil or with Anwar Rasheed in malayalam.Seems like Srinath Rajendran was lucky enough to get his debut film.
