Rating, Racha Telugu Film Review: Ram Charan is back after one and half years with Racha. His last film Orange didn’t fare well and this time he banked upon a commercial mass entertainer. Sampath Nandi directed this movie and Tamanna is the female lead. Let’s see how is Racha in detailed review…


Story:

Raj (Ram Charan) is a guy who makes money on bettings. His father (MS) falls ill and doctors say that his liver has to be transplanted. So Raj takes up a bet thrown by James (Ajmal) to make Chaitra (Tamanna) fall in his love. Chaitra is daughter of Ballari (Mukesh Rishi), a hardcore criminal and multi millionaire. Now Raj has a big challenge ahead of him. What happens next is to be seen on screen.

Analysis:

Racha has a routine plot and beaten to death narration. But having right mix of commercial elements is its biggest plus. The writers and the director got the formula right and have thrown in good twists at right intervals. The narration is also smooth and racy.

There are no dull moments in the film, which would work in its favor at the box office. Racha will be lapped up by the masses as it offers them right doses of mass entertainment. This film may not impress audience who seek variety and sensible narration. On the downside the film starts off on a weak note and only gains momentum after thirty minutes into the story.

Racha is over the top at times and that is what works here. If you are looking for some mass masala treat, Racha is the one for you. It has the potential to click at the box office.

Performances: 

Ram Charan did one man show in this film. He is at his best in the role of a slum boy with daring attitude. He imitated Chiru in few scenes and that will be liked by mega fans. His fluid dances and solid action sequences adds to the film. Charan can turn into a very big mass hero in the days to come. He is too good at portraying this type of roles.

Tamanna is a treat to watch. Her glamour is another positive point for the film. Tamanna’s skin show in songs, especially Vaana vaana song will win her more fans. Her performance is Okay too.

Ajmal is neat in an important role. Mukesh Rishi is usual. Brahmanandam provided comic relief and so did Ali in one lengthy comedy scene. Parthipan and Nazar are good in their brief yet important roles. The director made sure of using all the characters to have a free flowing screenplay and he did well.

Technicalities:

Sampath Nandi banked upon seasoned technicians for this film. Paruchuri Brothers did a fine job with the dialogues. There were few unnecessary and silly dialogues, but on a whole, dialogues are good. Music by Mani Sharma is a bonus. His background score elevates the film and keeps the audience interested. Songs are good on screen. Sameer Reddy’s cinematography is impressive. Editing by Gowtam Raju is adequate. The film is made on a grand scale.

Director Sampath Nandi exceeded everybody’s expectations by handling a routine script with complete command. He knows the pulse of mass audience. His direction in second half will impress. No nonsense approach is his biggest asset. Racha doesn’t bore at any point despite routine script.

Final Word:

Racha is for the masses. It has been a while since any mega hero did an out and out mass entertainer. Racha will be a treat for mega fans and will click with the B and C centers audiences. The success range will depend on how well they embrace it

Mega Power Star Ram Charan's Racha Movie Preview Story

The movie starts off with the introduction of Thamanna and her family . Along with that 'Mukesh Rishi' is shown as the father of Rangam fame Ajmal . Parthiban ( Yuganiki okkadu King) acted as the father of Ram Charan . Three friends gathers huge money from different countries in the name of funds for the welfare of their Village . The greedy Mukesh rushi kills them and escapes from the village with money . Charan decides to help his father in the village development and begins the search of Mukesh rushi . On the other hand Tamanna always thinks of something in her mind . Here comes the twist , Ajmal the son of Mukesh Rusji loves tamanna and kills her family in the process of attaining her . Now Tamanna needs a man to take her revenge . In this process she finds Charan as an apt person and she decides to love charan . In return she asks him to kill a person for which Charan doesn't agree . Later , Charan comes to know that ajmal is the son of Mukesh Rushi and agrees to Tamanna's request as his goal is also to find Mukesh Rushi . Charan and tamanna start their search for Mukiesh Rushi and finally captures him . At the end Charan gets the money from Mukesh rishi and fulfill his father's request i.e the development of the village . With lot of twists and turns in between movie might give us a feel of full fledged mass entertainer .

Ram Charan or Tamanna who is 'beautiful'?

Ram Charan has shown his lighter side to his Twitter fans on Monday morning by stating that he is not as beautiful as Tamanna. 

 

He also added that his cinematographer Sameer Reddy (Racha) made him think twice about this by making him look as good as Tamanna.

 

 He thanked the cinematographer after stating this.

This is the actual tweet of Ram Charan, which was instantly liked by his fans.

 

 "I know I can't look as beautiful as my co-star tamanna but then lookin at sameer reddy's(my cinematographer) work I can re-think.thank u sam." 

 

This shows that Charan has inherited the simplicity and also the sense of humor from his dad, who has won hearts with these qualities.

We all know that Ram Charan is not a great looker. However, he has his own style to look handsome and on par with his contemporary heroes. But to accept that he is not good looking compared to his costar is not we usually expect from a Telugu star. Keep it up Cherry!

Racha will Hit The Screen on April 5

Ram Charan and Tamanna starrer ‘Racha’s will be hit the screens on April 5. The film shooting is complete except for two song and Ram Charan managed to complete filming for these despite his injury.

Source says that “’Racha’ is all set to release big on April 5.” It was directed by Sampath Nandi and it was jointly produced NV Prasad and Paras Jain under the banner of Mega Supergood Films.

Mani Sharma has scored music for the film. Suresh Babu handled the cinematography. The Tamil dubbed version of the film has titled as ‘Ragalai’ is also release on April 5 in Tamil Nadu.

Who will compete with the Prince Mahesh Babu?

Speaking about the top league stars of Tollywood the list is long as it comprises of Mahesh Babu, Pawan Kalyan, Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Allu Arjun etc. But if one has to point out who is the number one among them then the name of Mahesh springs first. DSP Debuts As Composer In Ram Charan’s Next Movie Zanjeer

Ram Charan Teja will be debuting in Bollywood with the remake of Amitabh Bacchan’s blockbuster hit Zanjeer.

This movie will also mark the debut of Telugu music composer Devi Sri Prasad. Reports suggest that Ram Charan Teja has insisted that he wants Devi Sri Prasad only as the composer.

The Movie will also be starring Sanjay Dutt.

On the other hand Ram Charan Teja’s Racha will be announcing its release date by the 15th of this month. He is busy with the shooting of two songs which will be a part of this multi crore project. Tamanna has been paired up with him.
