Deepika and Ranbir have no hesitation to do love scenes together

The fact that they have been lovers once upon a time hasn’t seemed to hamper them. In fact when Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor, Bollywood stars, were offered a film together, they readily took it up.

However was it a wise move setting aside all past differences and choosing to get into a romantic movie together? After all, however professional they are, at the end of the day it can get to be quite embarrassing and uncomfortable for both of them. To add to their discomfort, there are reportedly intimate scenes in the film’s script. Director, Ayan Mukherjee is leaving no stone unturned to see to it that they get along well off-screen so that their chemistry is translated onto the big screen.

Although it might all be too much ado over nothing, Deepika and Ranbir are quite cool about the whole episode and have not exhibited any misgivings about working together. Both of them have showed readiness and interest in doing the intimate sequences and they say that they are professionals and all these issues are a part and parcel of this acting profession.

Well, will their professionalism last long enough or will they succumb to the old bonds of love once more, remains to be seen.

Ranbir Kapoor to romances with Anushka Sharma in Bombay Velvet

If all goes well, Anurag Kashyap’s film ‘Bombay Velvet’ will have Ranbir Kapoor play the lead, which was initially supposed to be played by Aamir Khan.

Bombay Velvet is a story about the Mumbai city and its ethos in the era of 1960s. The film’s leading man is required to play a mainstream megastar.

Anshka Sharma will be playing the leading lady in the movie. What a perfect combination, we say. This is the first time that the two will be doing a film together.

Though there is no confirmation yet from either of the actors, watching Ranbir-Anushka on screen will be a treat to the audience.

Deepika, Ranbir to patch up?

Buzz has it that these days, ex-flames Ranbir and Deepika are apparently getting closer. Taking a cue from the latest reports, it’s learnt that these two actors have lately been meeting each other at Ayan Mukerji’s house for a discussion on his upcoming project.

A source has revealed that the director is making sure that both these stars forget their past issues so that they can feel at ease while working together onscreen, after nearly two years post their breakup.
“There has been lot of bad blood between Ranbir and Deepika when they were breaking up. They have now realised that a lot of the negativity was engineered and that none of them had a role to play in it. Both are now determined to be good friends which initially was the case before they started dating,” said the source.
Deepika wants to remove the RK tattoo
Deepika, who loves flaunting her RK tattoo which she had inked when she was in a serious relationship with Ranbir, has now finally made up her mind to get rid of it.
It’s heard that the actress is lately not happy after people around her have been asking her why she is still holding on to the tattoo.
"Not because she's ashamed of it or embarrassed by it, as Deepika is not apologetic about anything that she has done in her life, including the tattoo. It's just that people around her are constantly bothered about it, which in turn is troubling her. So she has decided to get it removed,” said Deepika.

Even after her break-up with Ranbir, Deepika never wanted to erase the tattoo since it brought her back memories of the beautiful relationship she had shared with the actor.
However, when the actress was asked whether it’s true that she is planning to erase the tattoo, Deepika confirmed, “Why should it be a matter of concern for anyone? It's my tattoo. I've to deal with it. I've to wake up and see it every morning. I will decide what to do with it."

Ileana D’cruz to play an old woman in Barfee

 

South actress Ileana D’Cruz who features in Anurag Basu’s Barfee will be seen aging from a 19-year-old to a 65-year-old in the movie! The 24-year-old D’Cruz is a model-turned actress, who has been part of several South films including the superhit, Pokkiri. Barfee is her first Hindi film.

“All the three lead actors are playing out-of-the-box, and extremely interesting characters in Barfee,” said Anurag Basu, the film’s director,

“Ranbir Kapoor, as everyone knows, is playing a deaf and mute boy, Priyanka Chopra is not mentally-challenged as reported, but is mildly autistic (a form of mental illness that causes a person to withdraw into a private world of fantasy and be unable to communicate with others or respond to his/her real environment) in the film. Ileana D’Cruz, on the other hand, is playing a character who will be seen aging from a 19-year-old to 30 to a 65 year-old,” stated Basu.

The shooting of Barfee took off on June 14 at Darjeeling where Ranbir and Ileana are participating in a 10-day schedule. The hill station is Ranbir’s hometown in the film and will be showcased as never before. After a 15-day gap, the shooting will continue in Mumbai, where Priyanka will start working for her part in August. As for the title Barfee, it was chosen because Ranbir’s name in the film is Murphy, and being mute, he mumbles it as barfee!
