Vishal seems to be busy with his projects after Avan Ivan.Vishal has signed up more than 3 films
in which couple of films are under shoot.

Vishal- Trisha in the lead role Thiru directing film Samar is busy in its shooting schedules.The shooting of other films to be on roll after wrapping up of Samar.The War is the tag line for Vishal Samar.

Vishal recently has signed up a film title MGR which is to be directed by Sundar C.Karthika is roped in as lead actress in the film.Vishal yet to sign up films with Lingusamy Sandakozhi2,Bala's film and director Saravanan's new film.

Jeeva, Vishal and Arya in a multistarrer?

If the sources are to be believed Jeeva is in plans to do a multi-starrer film after Nanban in Shankar's direction.

Sources of kollywood says that Jeeva, Vishal and Arya had recently watched Housefull 2 and enjoyed very much.Jeeva responding to this says “We had a casual discussion after watching Housefull 2, which is packed with lot of fun and many gangs included in it.”

Vishal's Samaran with Trisha in - Samaran

We have earlier reported that Vishal is pairing with Trisha for a new film in the direction of Thiru and the movie is titled as Samaran.

Vishal-Trisha's Samaran is touted to be an action entertainer as the title suggestes the meaning of The Warrior. Vedi is an upcoming Tamil-language action film directed by Prabhu Deva featuring Vishal and Sameera Reddy in the lead roles. The film, which is a remake of the successful 2008 Telugu film Souryam, is expected to release by the end of September 2011.

In July 2010, it was revealed that GK Film Corporation had signed on Prabhu Deva to direct a film featuring Vishal in the lead role. Initially Trisha Krishnan was approached for the lead female role but turned it down as the role did not excite her, Similarly Anushka Shetty refused the project, while Hansika Motwani cited that her call sheet was full. Reports emerged that Samantha, Kajal Aggarwal, Tamannaah Bhatia and Reemma Sen were considered, before the role was handed to Sameera Reddy.




Poonam Kaur signed the film in March 2011, agreeing to reprise her role as the protagonist's sister from the original. The scenes were shot in Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering with all lead roles.

Vishal began his first schedule in February 2011, after completing work from his other film Avan Ivan. An item song featuring Sophie Choudry was shot in April 2011 for the film. By May 2011, it was reported that 80% of the shoot was over after scenes were shot in Bidar a small town near Hyderabad. The team then shot a song in Pollachi later that month.

Vedi flying to South Africa for Songs Shoot

Vishal starring upcoming undershoot movie Vedi is busy in shooting at brisk pace.Vedi team soon to fly South Africa for a new schedule.

Director Prabhu Deva planned to shoot couple of songs in Cape Town of South Africa in afresh schedule.Vedi South Africa schedule will be for 10 days and the unit of the film will return back for preparations of Vedi Audio launch on September 1st. Vijay Anthony has given few peppy songs for the film in Vedi.Sameera reddy is playing female lead actress role in the film.

Co-producer of Vedi movie Shreya Reddy informs “We are planning for the next and final schedule, which also includes a couple of days of patch work and two songs to be shot in abroad”.

Vedi canned a song on Sameera Reddy At Howrah

Vishal,Sameera Reddy starring upcoming undershoot film Prabhakaran has recently re-titled as Vedi.Vishal's Vedi shooting is progressing in Kolkatta at Howrah.

Director Prabhu Deva has finished shooting of a special dance number song on Sameera Reddy at the Howrah Bridge.Choreographer Brindha has composed dance steps for Sameera reddy's song in Vedi.

Sameera Reddy updating about Vedi said It is not so easy to get into the moves choreographed by Brindha master. The moves are fantastic in this number and it would sure become a rage."

Vedi movie is the remake of Gopichand,Anushka's telugu film Souryam.Vishal’s home production banner GK Films Corporation is producing Vedi movie.Vedi movie is gearing up to release for this Diwali.

Prabhakaran is not for publicity says Vishal

Vishal who was upset with recent media reports had came forward and thrashed all rumours of his upcoming movie Prabhakaran under Prabhu Deva direction.As per the media reports the filmmakers have titled the film as Prabhakaran as the itself has huge value and by this the publicity of the film will be high on demand.

Vishal says thrashing the reports “It is not at all a publicity stunt and we have named the film Prabhakaran as my role in the film is titled so. Moreover it is just a working title and it may go for a change in the near future. The film is shaping up in a brisk pace and is almost nearing its completion”.
