 The first thing that crosses your mind before you watch the trailer is: how similar is the film to the original masterpiece made by Mukul S Anand? Well, the only similarities are the basic premise, the title and the names of the main characters – Vijay Dinanath Chauhan (Hrithik Roshan replaces Amitabh Bachchan) and Kancha Cheena (Sanjay Dutt replaces Danny Denzongpa). Otherwise, they are altogether different films, different experiences… trust us.

There are many reasons why you shouldn’t miss the trailer. One, the film is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, the production house which gave us the original cult classic with Amitabh Bachchan in the lead. Also, hearthroab Hrithik Roshan is doing an out-an-out commercial film after a hiatus. The film also has Sanjay Dutt playing out-an-out negative role for the first time. There’s Rishi Kapoor playing a baddie in the true sense (his character did have shades of grey in Khoj, which released many years ago). And there’s the pretty Priyanka Chopra.

Last but not least, the film is helmed by the talented Karan Malhotra. So what if he is making his directorial debut? Watch the trailer and Malhotra comes off as a veteran at making hardcore commercial entertainers. He’s brilliant and a director to look forward.

2. A certain crudeness in Sanjay Dutt’s voice and behavior, which makes him look like, not Deadly Dutt, but Deadliest Dutt

Promo Details: The promo starts with drama and ends with relentless action scenes. Hrithik is simplae and intense. Mr Dutt is menacing, mean and and finally a bad guy villain. He is rustic, more Indian and doesnt wear designer clothes. Rishi Kapoor is one of the bad guys with an action sequence and the promo has no dancing and singing numbers. Sanjay Dutt and daughter Trishala Dutt seem to be locking horns as father says daughter will never have a career in Bollywood. It was not long before Trishala Dutt expressed her desire to make a career for herself in Bollywood. It was said that Trishala Dutt was even taking up dancing, acting and other classes related to get her to be a successful person in the film industry. As a matter of fact Trishala Dutt has high ambitions towards getting into Bollywood as soon as she can.

Sanjay Dutt’s latest film Chatur Singh Two Star

Wonder why the actor has moved away from intense roles to focus on inanely comic ones

I just saw the promo of Sanjay Dutt’s latest film Chatur Singh Two Star and it got me thinking. In the last few years, Sanju baba has moved from the intense and angry avatar to the goofy one – like in Dhamaal, All The Best, No Problem and Double Dhamaal. His other option? Don some bad makeup, bash up the bad guys and get drenched in badly fake blood. It seems that’s why he’s agreed to wear this lush and strangely blonde wig and do a Peter Sellers in his next, Chatur Singh Two Star. After repeatedly watching him desperately ham his way to a hit, I have begun to wonder: whatever happened to the intense performer of Rocky, Vaastav and, to some extent, Mission: Kashmir and Munnabhai MBBS? I still remember sobbing into tissue after tissue while watching Saajan. And actually rooting for him in Khalnayak, even though he was the anti-hero. It’s true that after three decades in the industry, it is tough to do something you haven’t done before, but I am not looking for anything new. I will be happy enough if Sanjay returns to those kinds of roles – ones that give him the scope to actually explore his talent. I hope Agneepath is just the kind of acting I am talking about. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Sanjay Dutt & Priyanka Chopra Get Gifts From SRK

It has been already reported that Priyanka Chopra and Sanjay Dutt will be making a cameo in Shah Rukh’s upcoming film Ra.One. Well, Dutt who willingly did the cameo in the film for free was ‘repaid’ with a thoughtful gift by SRK.
Dutt, whose passion for bikes is well known, received a gift worth approx Rs. 15 lakhs in the form of a high-end Italian cruiser bike from SRK! Speaking about this, Dutt said “I really appreciate what Shah Rukh has done. It’s a thoughtful gesture.”
And that’s not all. Priyanka Chopra shot for Ra.One yesterday, despite it being her birthday. The shoot went on till late night. SRK however, thanked Priyanka in his own sweet way. Since Priyanka loves musical instruments, he gifted an expensive acoustic guitar to the actress, after the shoot.
