Ferrari Ki Sawaari has now been pushed forward to after IPL 5
He adds that it’s not because he is scared of the competition from cricket, but because some shots need to be canned. And he didn’t want to have a release on his head and an incomplete film on his hands. “I started working on Ferrari Ki Sawaari when 3 Idiots (2009) was still being shot. It’s taken us four years to write it. It’s one of our finest scripts, and I want to give it the time it deserves,” says Vinod, recalling Hollywood filmmaker Ingmar Bergman’s three commandments, the second being ‘thou shall entertain without selling your soul’.
Insisting that money has never been his driving force, Vinod points to the fact that instead of cashing in on his hit franchise and raking in Rs 100 crore in the first weekend itself, he’s been writing Munnabhai Ki Atmakatha for the last four years. The film is finally ready to be flagged off this September.
“At a time when films are made only for the first weekend, Amitabh Bachchan, seeing Ferrari Ki Sawaari, pointed it out that I’m still making my movies for Mondays. I hold him in great regard. He was one of the first to see the film,” says Chopra who has shown the film revolving around a little boy whose dream of driving a Ferrari takes him to the Lord’s cricket pitch, to around 300-400 people from different walks of life. “Around 1,000 will see it at special screenings through May with us taking note of their inputs. Then we take the film into the theatres and to a larger audience.”

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor starrer ‘Agent Vinod’ had a decent opening day at the box office. The film is did very good business in Mumbai and South. Due to holidays in some states helped the film to do a decent business.
‘Agent Vinod’ has collected Rs. 9.50 crore nett in its first day (Friday). The good collection of the film at high end multiplexes, but in some places like UP, Bihar and Rajasthan single screen had low collections.

Kareena Kapoor makes it clear to everybody about ‘Heroine’ Movie
Is ‘Heroine’ based on Aishwarya’s pregnancy?
On the sets of Heroine, Kareena Kapoor was spotted with a baby bump. As soon as her photo with the baby bump were out on the net, rumor mills started their work. Yes! Rumors had it that the film ‘Heroine’ is based on Aishwarya Rai, who walked out of the movie after her pregnancy announcement.
Though the director of the movie Madhur Bhandarkar has clearly stated that his film is not based on any actress, yet there are n numbers of stories coming up, time and again.
Talking to a news channel, Kareena Kapoor makes it clear to everybody that ‘Heroine’ is a completely different movie and is neither based on Aishwarya nor Manisha.
Kareena further tells that, the story is a fiction and is written by Madhur himself. She also tells that, it is not the heroine or her clothes and glamour that the tale is based upon but her mind.

John Abraham always manages to have sizzling chemistry with his co-stars
"My chemistry with every co-star that I work with somehow turns out to be 'sizzling hot' may that be Genelia, Katrina, Vidya Balan or even with Abhishek Bachchan. So I feel it is important to have chemistry with your co-star, only then the film turns out to be a good product," said John.
The 38-year-old actor will soon be seen romancing Genelia D'Souza in "Force".

Salman's Bodyguard Hindi Movie Review

The beauty of a Salman Khan film is that it doesn't claim to be anything but just that. But when you pack in sappy melodrama, clichéd characterisation, a pathetic love story and action scenes choreographed in outer space, not even a Katrina Kaif item number can save the day.
The film is based on the life of a certain Lovely Singh (Salman Khan) who is, (as his name suggests?), a bodyguard. An unshakeable, unbreakable, fighting machine, who leaps out of a train to land on top of another zipping through in the opposite direction. David Blaine: be ashamed, be very ashamed.
Lovely's first vulgar display of power is when he swings by a certain port to rescue a group of girls being trafficked to Thailand in a container. After busting several noses and cracking a dozen skulls, one of the baddies unleashes a huge container that lands on Lovely. But our Superman without a cape is indestructible and the container carrying a million thermocol balls is smashed across. Human trafficking: understandable. Smuggling a million thermocol balls: one wild party in Thailand?
Soon Lovely is commissioned to protect the daughter of a very eminent master of the universe (or atleast of a small village in India), Sartaj Rana (Raj Babbar). Following Bollywood's guideline for clichés, Lovely has a history that has left him forever indebted to the great Rana. Anyway, the daughter in question is Divya (Kareena Kapoor) who's mostly occupied doing girly things with her live-in friend played by Hazel Keech. After much-half-hearted-opposition, Lovely is employed to protect Divya, a duty performed mostly by walking around her with shoulders arched like a lobster.
Before we know it, the emotionless Lovely turns down-right spastic as he falls in love with an anonymous girl who stalks him by calling him about 3528 times a day. An obnoxiously fat excuse for a comedian plays an odd sidekick to Lovely as passage of time becomes extremely painful. How the film concludes won't make it to Kaun Banega Crorepati's first round of questions but those who brave to sit through this can surely crack 'Who Dares Wins'.
Things about 'Bodyguard' that are incomprehensible or retarded or both: 1. Each time Lovely gets a phone call his body jerks ahead like someone has kicked his behind. 2. There is a quirky scene involving a remote controlled helicopter that is let loose on Divya. As it slashes through fruits, furniture, the special effects are tacky enough for it to seem like a housefly that can be easily swatted down.
Among the performances, Salman translates innocence with idiotic grins and expressions that can't be briefed here. Kareena's character is not important enough to be able to decide the fate of this film. Raj Babbar only reinforces the logic behind him being scarce in films, drifting between loud and controlled hamming.
The music covers the landscape, from the chirpy, 'I love you' to the full-blast disco-dhol number, 'Desi Beats'. When director Siddique said that Salman Khan will be seen here in an avatar he has never been seen in, he wasn't lying. But the pertinent question is, do we want to see Salman in an emotionally challenged, Forest Gump-ish state?

You Will Have To Wait More For Dhoom 3
But news is that he is trying hard to juggle dates between shooting episodes for his TV debut and Dhoom 3.
Incidentally, the Yash Raj production has already been delayed, thanks to papa-to-be Abhishek Bachchan.
Says a source, “Yash Raj is very particular about their shoot dates; they don’t really juggle things around. They are now working with Aamir on a schedule that is conducive to both.”
However, buzz is that the actor is putting all his energies in the pre-production of the talk show.
Adds the source, “This is Aamir’s first time on television and he obviously wants nothing to go wrong. He is looking into every little detail of the show.
There are many short-films and documentaries that are part of the format, so there are a lot of elements to be looked into.”
Apparently, Aamir has roped in his Delly Belly composer Ram Sampath to give music for the documentaries that will be aired as part of the show. What’s more, perfectionist Khan will not just be personally supervising the edits, but apparently will also rope in friends from the industry to make guest appearances on the show.
Aamir is scheduled to start shooting for his TV show in September, the first of 20 plus episodes he is expected to do. It is expected to go on air in January next year.
And since his next film with Rani Mukherjee and Kareena Kapoor is also expected to release around the same time, don’t be surprised if you see a parallel publicity strategy for the both by the superstar.
Why you shouldn’t miss the trailer of Agneepath? On 31 AUG
Come August 31 and the trailer of Karan Johar’s Agneepath being directed by Karan Malhotra will be screened along with Salman Khan’s Bodyguard. We also know that this is one of the most-anticipated movies on the slate and is scheduled for a January 13, 2012, release.

The first thing that crosses your mind before you watch the trailer is: how similar is the film to the original masterpiece made by Mukul S Anand? Well, the only similarities are the basic premise, the title and the names of the main characters – Vijay Dinanath Chauhan (Hrithik Roshan replaces Amitabh Bachchan) and Kancha Cheena (Sanjay Dutt replaces Danny Denzongpa). Otherwise, they are altogether different films, different experiences… trust us.
There are many reasons why you shouldn’t miss the trailer. One, the film is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, the production house which gave us the original cult classic with Amitabh Bachchan in the lead. Also, hearthroab Hrithik Roshan is doing an out-an-out commercial film after a hiatus. The film also has Sanjay Dutt playing out-an-out negative role for the first time. There’s Rishi Kapoor playing a baddie in the true sense (his character did have shades of grey in Khoj, which released many years ago). And there’s the pretty Priyanka Chopra.
Last but not least, the film is helmed by the talented Karan Malhotra. So what if he is making his directorial debut? Watch the trailer and Malhotra comes off as a veteran at making hardcore commercial entertainers. He’s brilliant and a director to look forward.
What you get in the trailer:
1. Determination evident in the eyes of Hrithik Roshan
2. A certain crudeness in Sanjay Dutt’s voice and behavior, which makes him look like, not Deadly Dutt, but Deadliest Dutt
3. This may be the first time Rishi Kapoor is playing a baddie but his performance will give you goosebumps
4. The extravaganza in every scene is palpable in every frame of the trailer. It makes you wonder, if the trailer is of this high quality and so entertaining, what’s in store for us when the film itself hits the screen in January?
Verdict: A sure-shot entertainer and box-office jackpot.
Promo Details: The promo starts with drama and ends with relentless action scenes. Hrithik is simplae and intense. Mr Dutt is menacing, mean and and finally a bad guy villain. He is rustic, more Indian and doesnt wear designer clothes. Rishi Kapoor is one of the bad guys with an action sequence and the promo has no dancing and singing numbers.
